On September 22, 2023, CoastalPro was proudly represented at the Joint Kick-Off Meeting hosted by CINEA in Brussels, gathering all funded projects under the EMFAF-2023-BlueCareers call.

The day opened with remarks from CINEA leadership and included sessions on project monitoring, financial and communication guidance, followed by networking opportunities and an afternoon dedicated to project presentations.

Our Coordinator, Odysseas Spyroglou, presented the COASTAL PRO initiative—highlighting its innovative, game-based learning approach to entrepreneurship in sustainable coastal tourism, its strong emphasis on ESG and foresight, and its ability to be replicated across sea basins, lakes, and rivers.

The event served as a valuable opportunity to connect with peer projects, share visions for blue careers, and align with the Mission Restore our Ocean and Waters objectives.
