We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the CoastalPro Cohort 4 Onboarding Webinar, marking the official launch of the programme’s final up-skilling challenge.

The webinar brought together aspiring entrepreneurs, students, and professionals from across the tourism and innovation ecosystem, all eager to explore how they can transform their coastal tourism ideas into real opportunities.

During the session, participants were introduced to the CoastalPro initiative — an EU-funded programme dedicated to fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and next-generation skills in coastal tourism. Attendees gained valuable insights into how Cohort 4 operates, with its newly introduced flexible and fully open structure, allowing participants to shape their own learning journey.

The webinar covered key aspects of the programme, including:

• How to access and navigate the learning platform
• An overview of the six training modules available from day one
• Guidance on developing a strong concept and building a compelling 10-slide pitch
• The selection process for the top six finalist ideas
• What to expect from the final live pitching event, where participants will present their ideas to investors, hoteliers, and industry experts

Participants also had the opportunity to understand the wide range of benefits offered through the programme, including hands-on experience, increased visibility, and access to real career and business opportunities.

Cohort 4 is open to students, recent graduates, young professionals, and aspiring entrepreneurs, as well as anyone interested in tourism, hospitality, sustainability, and coastal innovation. No prior experience is required, making it an accessible opportunity for anyone ready to take the first step toward developing their idea.
